Life in process...

"Life moves pretty fast.  If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

COUNSELING

Counseling

Picture
Not only am I able to lead you through the planning of your wedding day, I am also able to provide you with professional counseling addressing any issues pertaining to your marriage or other personal areas that you would like to process through.  I have been a registered counselor in the State of Washington #RC00050568 since 2004.

I received my BA in Speech Communication from the University of Washington and my MA in Counseling from The Seattle School Of Theology & Psychology and have worked extensively with individuals, adolescents, at risk teens, and their families for the last twenty years. I’m a seasoned marriage counselor and also enjoy working with issues of faith and spirituality.

Along with doing weddings I facilitate individual, family/marriage, and group counseling at my private practice located near Lake Washington and Matthews Beach in Seattle, WA and I am also available for leading retreats. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, Seattle Counseling Association, and the Counseling Seattle Network.

Working from existential, relational, and psychodynamic models of psychotherapy, I strive to work with individuals by diving into the depths of their stories and authentically engaging and exploring their relational styles and most personal struggles.

Areas of specialty include…
     + premarital counseling
     + marriage and family issues
     + addictions (chemical and sexual)
     + life transitions
+ exploring areas of spirituality and faith
     + relational difficulties
     + abuse
     + suicidal tendencies
+ issues of grief, depression, self esteem, loss, and self identity

I am committed to providing a safe and confidential space to explore your life and how it impacts you socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
